monday's are the very absolute worst day for me to try to photograph our dinner. as soon as i get home from work, the hubs heads out the door to meet with his bestie (do boys have besties?) for dinner and then their bowling league. i usually throw some food at the kiddos and then get the bean into her leotard and we head off for dance class. yesterday wasn't as bad as usual because the bean didn't have school, but still, monday's are wacky for us. didn't help that shorty was tired and wanted to sit on my lap and have me feed her. fun times.
needless to say, i didn't get a picture of dinner so much. i did get a picture of the girls having snack after we got home from dance class and were getting ready for bed...
they are spreading homemade chocolate sauce (thanks uncle bob!) on graham crackers. bean did a good job of spreading, shorty just ate the chocolate off her little knife then smashed up her cracker and was done.
(please ignore that strip of white near the baseboards...someday there will be a window seat/dinette built in here and that will be covered.)
it has occurred to me that i am doing a LOUSY job at this photo challenge! i took a pic of snack instead of dinner, 1pm instead of 10am, no stranger. ah well, at least i can say i am participating in the spirit of the thing! i am taking pictures and catching a bit of everyday life on our mountain!
