my oohmoon original is hanging!!

i finally got the artwork that i ordered for myself for christmas hanging!  here's the original work that i commissioned from katie moon...

i ordered a 20x30 poster board from costco.  i really wanted a canvas print, but it was a-hundred-and-seventy-bucks and i knew it would hang in the kitchen so i needed something with protective glass covering it.  basically it had to be framed and i wouldn't want to frame the canvas.

so i finished painting my kitchen this weekend and found a frame that would fit it.  i had to paint the frame (it was dark blue) and get a little creative with the edges...oh, just, here it is:

i am soooooo happy with how it turned out!!!!!  when you walk in my "front door" (not really the front but the one everyone uses) you can see it thru the kitchen doorway.  i find myself standing in the kitchen just smiling at it.
